Hitting 50 is a pretty big milestone; one that usually comes with a big celebratory bash filled with lots of food, booze, and good times. That being said, you can imagine the amount of eating and drinking that’s going to go down when America’s biggest sporting event of the year, the Super Bowl, will have its 50th kickoff February 7th at the greenest and most technologically advanced professional stadium in the country: Levi Stadium. To help you navigate the state-of-the-art facility with over 180 different food items (85% of which come from California suppliers and 75% from within 150 miles) without going insane in the membrane, we’ve rounded up the best bites with a hint of Latin in them. You’ll still have to figure out the 200 plus in-state wine options and local beers for yourself. May the force be with you (and the team you’re cheering for).  [pagebreak]

The Nachos at Bourbon Pub

For the first time in NFL and sports history, a Michelin starred chef is dishing out game day grub. The chef we’re talking about is Michael Mina and his idea of game day grub consists of, wait for it, nachos. But not just any nachos, these bad boys are homemade, stacked, and layered with guacamole, borracho beans (Mexican style beans kicked up with peppers and beer), salsa roja, and beef chili. To finish things off, Mina puts a fried egg on it. Nacho dreams do come true.

Cuban Pastrami at Bourbon Pub

Before you get way excited, this Cuban Reuben is sans pork. Cuban simply means “pressed down like a panini.” Either way, if Michael Mina is making a Cuban Reuben, we’ll take it, pork or not. On it: you’ve got salami, pastrami, black forest ham, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and horseradish on a crunchy ciabatta sourdough that gets the Cubano deep press treatment — joining all the meats and cheesy goodness together as one — with pungent sauerkraut acting as the binding agent. Double Barrel Wagyu Dog at Bourbon Pub

Technically you could never leave Bourbon Pub the entire game and be totally okay, especially when you’ve got a double barrel bacon wrapped wagyu dog outfitted with guacamole, pico de gallo, and chicharrones as the cherry on top. Why yes, those are pork rinds on your wiener. Fret not – it comes with even more on the side.

Chicken Tinga Tacos

If you’re lucky enough to be sitting at the club or suite level, you can nosh on chicken tinga tacos. Soft serve tortillas are filled with juicy braised breast meat, with tomato, chipotle peppers and sautéed onions and bell peppers, and accompanied by fire roasted salsa, cilantro, onion, red jalapenos, cotija cheese, and sour cream. Taco so hard.  [pagebreak]

Nopales Torta from Tortas

Game so good that you don’t want to get in line, not even during the half time show? Order tortas from the convenience of your seat via the Levi Satadium app and pick it up at their express line. Choose from the obvious pulled chicken or carne asada, or get a little wild with the nopales (cactus). It’s Super Bowl 50 after all.

Pulled BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich

A BBQ jackfruit sandwich might not be Latin, but considering the stadium is serving up over 30 vegan options and the California fruit gets braised and smoked, with apple-jalapeno coleslaw and house-made barbecue on a Hawaiian role, we decided to give you a sixth non-Latin non-meat offering. Pro tip: for dessert, be on the lookout for red velvet cupcakes.
