Wake up, Texas! Election day is quickly creeping up on us, but you are the lucky ones who get an added perk with the voting process.

Most Americans know that it’s important to register to vote before November 8th rolls around. The Lone Star state, however, has come up with an incentive for Houston, TX residents. Starting Monday, Houstonians will be able to register to vote at certain taco trucks throughout the city. The campaign comes as a collaboration between design firm Rigsby Hull and the Latino activism group Mi Familia Vota. The trucks included are local businesses such as El Ultimo Taco Truck, El Taquito Food Truck and Tierra Caliente.

Rigsby Hull principal Thomas Hull explains that the campaign was created in an effort to increase voter registration – and tacos may just be the way to do it. “We’re also handing out information on where to vote…and the process of voting, ’cause [registering] folks to vote is half the battle. The other half is getting folks to the polls,” he explained.

And how simple it will be. The trucks will reportedly have all necessary forms available for customers to fill out after ordering their lunchtime fish tacos. If this form of bribery means #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner, we’re on board, too.
