The Food & Wine Classic in Aspen is about to take over the Rockies this weekend for its annual bacchanal, welcoming gourmands, chefs, and more than a few lingering ski bums. Though it may be tough to tear yourself away from the deliciousness (we know, it’s very very hard), there’s good news: some of the best hotels in the country are just a few steps away. Here, our favorite places to lay our heads after a long day of eating and drinking in Aspen. Viva the Classic!

Little Nell

The Little Nell (left and above) is Aspen’s only five-star, five-diamond property in Aspen. With only 92 rooms, the hotel is small enough to embody an exclusive boutique feel but packed with all the luxuries and amenities that you don’t want to leave behind. Even the smallest room has a fireplace and every room comes with a complimentary well-stocked mini-bar. If you have time, check out the state-of-the-art fitness and spa center, take a dip in the outdoor pool or jacuzzi, or grab a bike from their bike share program (and burn off some of those calories). At night, hit up any of the four bars within the hotel for a cocktail and watch the sun set over the gorgeous mountain range.

St. Regis

With a $40 million redesign inspired by the grand lifestyle of the Gilded Age, the St. Regis has become one of the most luxe stays in Aspen. The hotel boasts 179 guestrooms with marble bathrooms, 40-inch flat screens, and fresh flowers in every room. Definitely make time to head out to the heated outdoor poll (with three heated outdoor spas), book a treatment at the Remède Spa (a 15,000-square-foot  spa with 15 treatment rooms), and grab dinner and drinks at The Restaurant, the Shadow Mountain Lounge, or the The Astor Library. And only 10 minutes away from the airport and within walking distance to the best of Aspen, you’ll never miss a moment of the festivities.

Up next, the Sky Hotel, Hotel Jerome, and the Viceroy in Snowmass.

Viceroy in Snowmass

If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Aspen, head to the Viceroy in Snowmass, seven miles outside of town. The hotel has 173 LEED-certified condo-style rooms, all with mountain views, updated bathrooms with Neil George products, a 7,000 square foot spa, an all-season heated saline pool and terrace with cabanas, a gourmet restaurant, Eight K. The best part: the hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to nearby Aspen, so you’ll never miss one delicious moment.

The Sky Hotel

The Sky Hotel, a place to see and be seen, is one of the most luxe hotels in Aspen. The hotel has 90 rooms, an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, a fully stocked mini bar, and a 24-hour fitness center with a massage room. Hit up the Aspen Club & Spa for soothing treatments and at night, check out the famous 39 Degrees Lounge, a truly swank spot for nibbles and drinks.

Hotel Jerome

With a recent renovation meant to create the feeling of a land baron’s home during the 1890’s silver boom, Hotel Jerome has maintained its position as a premium luxury spot in Aspen. The 93 guestrooms boast design flourishes like cashmere curtains, brushed-steel bedframes, and minibars designed to look like leather champagne chests. Make some time to hit up the Auberge Spa for a custom massage and have dinner or drinks at the delicious Prospect restaurant, The Living Room, or JBar.
