Watch People Try Clear Coffee (And Be Kind of Freaked Out By It)

There is such a thing as clear coffee and it’s kinda weirding us out? It’s also weirding out people who tried it over at Buzzfeed. Watch below.

So Clear Coffee is the “first colorless coffee drink in the World.” It’s made from Arabica coffee beans and pure water and doesn’t have any preservatives, artificial flavors, sugar, or any of that business. It comes in a small plastic bottle and looks a lot like a mini water.

As you can see Buzzfeed staffers weren’t that into it. Mostly because it tastes like “coffee-flavored water” and because … what’s the point?

Look we’re not saying not to buy it but, just make coffee and drink it. Seriously. What is the use case for clear coffee?

Is it, as one staffer mentioned, for people worried about coffee stains? We’re not that worried about that. And as another staffer pointed out, an iced version with milk didn’t taste all that much better.

Friends, we’re not ones to pass judgment. But as we type this we’re enjoying a regular cup of black coffee with whole milk and sugar. That’s where we stand on coffee.
