Santa Fe Wine and Chile Festival: September 23-27, 2015; Santa Fe, NM
Santa Fe’s Wine & Chile Festival is an annual five-day weekend of events featuring chefs and cuisine found in Santa Fe, New Mexico’s food scene. The festival brings together 90 national wineries and over 75 restaurants for a schedule filled with cooking demos, wine seminars, luncheons, and more.
Puerto Rico Meets New York: September 30-October 4, 2015; New York, New York
New York gets an authentic taste of Puerto Rico during this delicious festival. The event focuses on rum and food pairings from New York’s favorite Caribbean island. Nuyoricans will be proud to see the best chefs, dishes, and accompanying travel intersection showcased throughout the festival.
Punta del Este Food & Wine Festival: October, 2015; Punta del Este, Uruguay
Uruguay’s famous food and wine festival offers a unique experience in exclusive locations such as Punta del Este, José Ignacio and Pueblo Garzón. The bi-annual meeting of chefs brings features events such as “Sunset Chillout Food & Dance” and “Best Dinner Series”, pairing Uruguay’s best wine with delicious dishes.
El Saber de Sabor Festival Gastronómica Oaxaca 2015: Oaxaca, Mexico; October 9-October 13, 2015
Festival Gabstronómica Oaxaca 2015 is a five-day long oasis of food and drink, featuring renown chefs from all over the world. The chefs come together in Oaxaca to celebrate the classic and traditional gastronomy of Mexico.
New York City Wine & Food Festival: October 15-18, 2015; New York, New York
One of the largest food festivals in the country takes place in the heart of Manhattan, New York. The festival, which consists of numerous events throughout the city, supports the Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign. The weekend-long event showcases the country’s top chefs and dishes through a variety of demos, tasting, and classes.
Latin Food and Wine Festival: Orlando, FL; October 18, 2015
The Latin Food and Wine Festival is a Latin culinary extravaganza which features some of Central Florida’s best local restaurants, distributors, and cuisine. Aside from the variety of vendors, the festival will also include Latin music and entertainment, an artisan area with local artists showcasing their artwork, and cooking demonstrations by renown local chefs.
Taste of Menudo & Pozole: November 15, 2015; Los Angeles, CA
This free festival showcases two of Mexico’s famous stews – menudo and pozole. Aside from the delicious and satisfying dishes, attendees can also enjoy live entertainment, free raffles, and a Beer & Wine Garden.
Taste of Tamales: December 15, 2015; Los Angeles, CA
L.A. also boasts the Taste of Tamales Food Festival, where many tamale variations are served to satisfy the ever-hungry Mexican stomach.
International Gourmet Festival: November 16-22, 2015; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Puerto Vallarta’s upcoming International Gourmet Festival will celebrate 21 years of culinary arts and gastronomic evolution. The event includes an array of demonstrations, tastings, and demos by some of Mexico’s most renown chefs.
