Preheat oven to 350F or recommended oven temperature as designated by manufacturer.
In a bowl combine brownie mix, number of eggs as designated by manufacturer, chocolate chips, and Malta. Stir to combine.
In another bowl, stir Pumpkin Swirl ingredients until fully combined.
Grease 8 inch x 8 inch pan. Pour brownie batter into pan. Spoon Pumpkin Swirl on top, then using the back of a spoon gently swirl the batters together, then transfer pan to oven.
Bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from edge of pan comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
To create design, place buttercream in a pastry bag. Cut the tip off, then pipe a sugar skull or other design. Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or all on its own.
