    Smoked Salmon, Avocado and Turnip Tortilla Bites

    Delicately fried, these tortilla triangles make a satisfying snack without that overindulged feeling. Topped with omega-rich salmon, tart turnip greens and avocado; they're sure to heed cravings all afternoon.


    Ingredients

    corn tortillas
    1
    handful turnip greens
    8
    small slices smoked salmon
    8
    small slices avocado

    cracked black pepper, to taste
    *
    light olive oil, to taste
    Directions
    Sear turnip greens with a splash of oil, salt and pepper for approximately 2 minutes, or until reaching a deep green, wilted look. Remove from pan and set aside.
    In the same pan, bring olive oil to heat. Slice tortillas into fours and fry on each side until lightly browned. Set aside on a paper towel.
    Top tortillas with greens, salmon, avocado and cracked pepper. Garnish with a sprits of lime. Serve.
