To make secret sauce: combine all ingredients and mix well. Reserve. Chiffonade the romaine lettuce and add it to the bowl of secret sauce and reserve for plating.
To make the cheese sauce: Heat the heavy cream and slowly mix in American cheese until melted. Reserve.
To make burger: Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into a patty. Place onto a 500F grill (gas or Charcoal) and sear the steak for 4 minutes on each side, basting with butter to keep juicy. Top with gouda and allow to melt.
To assemble burger: place the Romaine and secret sauce mix on the bottom bun, top with burger and two thick slices of bacon. Slather with cheese sauce and top with bun.
