    Fish Fritters (Chicharron de Pescado)

This meatless dish is perfect for the vegetarian days of Lent. But whether you’re a believer or not, anyone who likes fish and food that bursts with flavor will enjoy this dish: a quick and easy (and light) fried seafood dinner.

    Ingredients
    1
    pound
white fish, cut in 1-inch cubes
    1/2
    cup
    all-purpose flour
    *
    Salt and Pepper
    *
    juice of ½ lemon
    Directions
Season the fish cubes with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Dredge the fish in the flour then transfer to a colander to shake off excess.
Fry in hot oil for a few minutes (about 4-5), turning around a few times.
Strain over a paper towel and serve immediately with tartar sauce, aji sauce, and fried green plantains.
