Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over low heat and stir until the sugar melts and the mixture begins to separate from the edges of pan.
Increase heat and stir quickly for approximately 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the stovetop.
Pour the mixture on a marble or granite surface and flatten with a wooden spoon. Let stand until cooled enough to handle but still warm.
Use a greased spoon to dole small portions into dessert cups, allow to cool and place into small jars or just eat it by the spoonful.
