    Banana French Toast

    We used banana bread from the farmer's market for this delicious french toast, adding an extra layer of banana on top for an addicting banana combo. A simple twist on a everyday breakfast recipe will make all the difference. 


    Ingredients
    4
    slices banana bread, toasted
    2
    eggs
    1/2
    teaspoon
    vanilla
    1/4
    cup
    half and half
    1
    pinch
    cinnamon
    1
    banana, chopped
    1
    tablespoon
    brown sugar
    3
    teaspoons
    butter
    Directions
    Toast banana bread and set to the side
    In a bowl add eggs, vanilla, half and half, and cinnamon. Mix well. Set to the side.
    Place a large frying pan over a medium flame, allow to get hot, then add butter.
    Chop a banana and dip in brown sugar then place in pan to fry about two to three minutes on each side or until crisp. Set to the side.
    Take your banana bread toast and dip in egg mixture, very quickly you don’t want to completely drench it, just dip it.
    Then place in hot pan with a little butter. Fry on each side for about 3 minutes.
    Top french toast with candied banana slices and syrup and enjoy your morning the right way.
