Once you puree a frozen banana, it has the exact consistency as ice cream…no joke! Don’t believe me? Find yourself a ripe banana and take this recipe for a spin.
Find a ripe banana, preferably overripe. Brown spots = the sweet spot!
Break banana into smaller pieces and place in freezer-safe container. Freeze for 2 hours.
Remove frozen banana and thaw for 5 minutes. Place banana into a bowl and puree with immersion blender or food processor.
Add fixins (a la walnuts, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt) and dig in!
