Christy Vega, one of TLK's featured chefs, is the owner of Casa Vega restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California. Hailing from a restaurant family, she will be sharing her recipe secrets with TLK in a series of how-to videos that recreate authentic Mexican dishes such as traditional Tamales, Elotes, Flan, Spinach Enchiladas, and Tostadas to tasty house-made Margaritas, all of which are featured at her restaurant. The first video featured Christy making a simple homemade guacamole and tortilla chips, followed by another in which Christy makes Tortilla Soup.
In this video, Christy will share her recipe for Corn Elotes, which you can find on the TLK site and make alongside her. A classic Mexican street food, we thought fall was the perfect time to highlight how to make this dish featuring what else but corn!
