The day has finally come when you can go to a Mexican restaurant and opt for a classic American meal instead.
Chipotle Mexican Grill, known for its burritos, tacos and extra-charge guacamole, is moving on to conquer the world of burgers, fries and milkshakes. The chain’s new concept will reportedly be called “TastyMade“, and will have its flagship location somewhere in Central Ohio.
News first broke of the Mexican eatery’s burger concept back in March. Chipotle first had the idea to name the new chain Better Burger, which later folded for undisclosed reasons.
The concept is surprising for most, considering Chipotle’s recent E. Coli outbreak and health food violations. It’s no surprise, however, that the fast-food giant wants to get in on the competition against burger giants such as Shake Shack, In-n-Out and others.
No word yet, unfortunately, on whether or not TastyMade will be serving Burrito Bowl French Fries.
