Even chefs aren’t immune to the excitement surounding the forthcoming release of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Inspired by the romantic fairy tale, Chef José Andrés has created a 10-course Beauty and the Beast-themed dinner to celebrate its return to the big screen.
According to Food and Wine, the $120 dinner experience, appropriately titled “Be Our Guest (Put Our Dishes to the Test,” also includes a ticket to a VIP preferred screening of the film at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theater. The film’s characters and story are the inspiration for all of the dishes and its soundtrack will provide the background music to which guests will enjoy their meal.
A sample of the dishes is below:
STEAMED BUN DUO – One oxtail bun paired with one crab bun
FOIE GRAS FLOATING ISLAND SOUP – Corn espuma, corn nuts, and chives
BELLE’S SPRING GARDEN – Celery root, pea puree, baby vegetables
BEEF CHEEKS WITH ROSE PETALS – Black garlic, cherries, and black olive
ENCHANTED ROSE DESSERT and “BELLE OF THE BALL” COCKTAIL
Andres’ Beauty and The Beast menu is available March 17 to March 26 at The Bazaar in Beverly Hills.
