What’s that dotting the NYC skyline? The chefs, the food… it’s the NYC Wine and Food Festival, back for it’s eighth delicious year! The festival, happening October 15-18, brings together lots of star power and plenty of amazing bites for one great cause. One hundred percent of the net proceeds benefit the Food Bank for New York City and the No Kid Hungry campaign and to date NYCWFF has raised $8.5 million! We’re happy to contribute to the cause. Here’s where we’ll be

Thursday

Tacos & Tequila

There’s no way we’d miss a night of two of our favorite things: tacos and tequila! Hosted by celeb chef and taco expert himself Aarón Sánchez, we’ll be able to try tacos and cocktails from rock star chefs Roberto Santibanez, Jose Garces, and more. How many tacos can we eat in one night? Let’s find out. [pagebreak]

Friday

Dinner with Jose Enrique and Jamie Bissonnette

Award winning chefs Jose Enrique and Jamie Bissonnette are hosting this intimate dinner of Puerto Rican, Spanish, and Italian cuisine, and we’re invited! Both are super stars, both named a Food & Wine Best New Chef, and both recognized by James Beard. We can’t wait to see what they’re cooking up.

Blue Moon Burger Bash

Absolutely no NYCWFF is complete with the Blue Moon Burger Bash hosted by Rachael Ray.  Great views of the city and the Hudson River from the roof of Pier 92, celeb chef created burgers, a “Smack Down” of mac and cheese dishes, and plenty of beer. Then we get to pick our favorite in the People’s Choice Award!

Rachael Ray’s Feedback: Chefs and Cocktails

We’re ending the night at Rachael Ray and husband John Cusimano’s South by Southwest event “Feedback”. They’ll be hip hop blues, plenty of delicious bites, and just one more cocktail… [pagebreak]

Saturday

Jets & Chefs: The Ultimate Tailgate

We love a party and this is going to be a big one. We’re joining Hall of Famer Joe Namath and cooking hall of famer Mario Batali for a tailgate on Pier 92. We’re going to throw the ball around with Jets alumni and have our fill of classic tailgate bites like wings, steaks, and ribs. Oh, don’t forget the beer and wine!

Dinner with Virgilo Martinez and Matthew Lightner

Virgilio Martinez is one of the best chefs in Latin America (his restaurant is currently ranked number one in Latin America) and there’s no way we’d miss him cooking in NYC. He’s teaming up with Matthew Lighter of NYC’s Atera for what will definitely be a spectacular Spanish dinner cooked with local ingredients and modern techniques. [pagebreak]

Sunday

Meatopia

An all out “meat festival”? Yes. We’re signed up. We’re joining Micahel Symon for this “meat-lover’s paradise” to try all things carnivorous: pork, beef, lamb, chicken, duck, turkey, quail… you get the picture. There will also be a “Whole Animal Court”, live music, wine and beer, and, did we mention meat?

Grand Tasting

The Grand Tasting happens all three days of the fest but this will be our last chance to hit up the 130,000-square-foot “wonderland”. There will be local food, wine, and beer, cooking demos, and plenty of chefs around including Duff Goldman, Valerie Bertinelli, Tylor Florence, and more. That’s not
