If you’re anything like us, you’ve been day-dreaming about summer for quite some time now: Making your list of summer blockbusters to watch, must-reads to stock your beach bag with, and scheduling weekend trips with friends. With that in mind, here's a heads up: the Los Angeles Food and Wine Festival is returning for a fourth year, happening August 21st through the 24th. Plan accordingly.
For three nights and four days, from Beverly Hills to Santa Monica, LA will be abuzz as foodies and big names in the culinary world congregate for an epicurean kaleidoscope of festivities. Thus far, three events have been announced: an Asian Night Market hosted by Masaharu Morimoto, a Saturday AM Cooking Demo, and the Ultimate Bites of L.A., the festival’s kick off event comprised, in part, of a charity Chef Challenge.
Little else is known about the 2014 food fest, but the public awaits with anxious ears and empty stomachs since the extravaganza promises book signings, mixology seminars, cooking demos, cuisine by over 100 world-class chefs, and tastings from over 200 wineries.
“We are setting the bar high for the fourth year to bring together dynamic and unprecedented chef pairings and collaborations,” said Co-Founder David Bernahl II. “Unprecedented” is a tall order when you consider last year’s participants: Rick Bayless, George Mendes, Giada de Laurentiis, Grant Achatz, Curtis Stone, Michael Chiarello, Scott Conant, Susan Feniger, Mary Sue Milliken, and more!
Tickets will be available for pre-sale to Chase Sapphire card members starting on June 16th through June 18th and to the general public on June 19, 2014. For more information, click here.
