Well, this is surprising. Ben & Jerry’s, everyone’s favorite ice cream maker, is recalling their Chocolate Fudge Brownie Pint Slices… and it’s not because of a food-related illness.

That’s right, there’s no salmonella or e. coli. It’s because the brownie boxes may actually contain a totally different ice cream: Vanilla Peanut Butter Cup Pint Slices. And while we’d be totally happy to try a new ice cream, these peanut butter laced cups could be harmful to consumers with nut allergies.
So check your freezer. The affected boxes have a UPC code of 076840657940, a “Best By” date of AUG1218LT2, and a lot number of AUG1218LT2.
