Cristina Gonzalez is the senior associate editor of The Latin Kitchen. Born in Puerto Rico, and raised in Miami, she is an avid home cook, and has spent most of her life tasting a little bit of this, and trying a little bit of that, to clean plate results. Obsessed with candy, Cristina is most interested in the connection between ingredients and origins, and how eating your way through a city can always make you feel more at home. Her work has appeared in Popular Mechanics, Conde Nast Traveler, Redbook, and Every Day with Rachael Ray. Cristina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Magazine Journalism from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree, also in Magazine Journalism, from New York University. She lives in New York.
