Want to look and feel like super (villainous?) power couple Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady? You can! That’s because Tom Brady just launched a meal-kit delivery service with vegan meal kit start-up Purple Carrot.

It’s not shocking that Bundchen and Brady follow strict diets, a super model and a Super Bowl winning quarterback need to keep it more than tight, they need to keep it perfect. But their list is more than restrictive, it’s impossible.
The family’s personal chef once gave an interview in which he listed out what the couple doesn’t eat, which includes: white sugar and flour, MSG, coffee, caffeine, olive oil, iodized salt, fungus, dairy, and nightshade vegetables. (It’s all part of a controversial diet called TB12, if you want to hit Google up.)
It would have been easier to say what they do eat, which is mostly vegetables (about 80 percent), all organic, of course, whole grains, lean meats, and fish. The chef said their comfort food is some kind of wilted spinach nonsense, which we can’t even talk about it.
Anyways, the Purple Carrot meal kits will follow this plan and for a mere $78 a week, they’ll send you three meals, designed to help people “stay at their peak while adhering to the TB12 nutritional philosophy.”
The meals are high in protein, 100 percent plant-based, gluten free, use no highly-processed ingredients, and severely limit soy and refined sugars. A sample menu included white lentil risotto (minus the rice), a ramen bowl with charred veggies, and turnip cakes with quinoa tabbouleh.
The first meals ship April 3 if you want to get on that. We’ll… pass. But you know, buen provecho and best of luck.
