It’s almost time for your cabinets to be filled with an overflowing amount of Halloween candy, but this season trick-or-treaters will see a whole new flavor profile.
Brach’s, a candy company, is known for its popular candy corn and other varieties, especially during the spooky season. The company, however, is declaring the ordinary orange, yellow and white candies as so last year – with the creation of brunch-flavored candy corn.
Come this fall, customers will be able to indulge in bite-sized candies that taste like a stack of pancakes, french toast, and more. Though inventive, the candies may just put brunch culture out of business, with how much money (and possibly calories?) people will save by purchasing affordable candy versus bottomless mimosas, eggs benedict and other brunch favorites.
The company already has different candy corn flavors including pumpkin spice and s’mores, but they may need to credit Willy Wonka for giving them the idea to create a piece of candy taste like a full meal.
