In just a few days, New York City’s museum scene will get a whole lot sweeter. The Museum of Ice Cream is set to open in the heart of the Big Apple, and we’ve got the scoop on all the details (Get it?).
From July 29th to August 31st, city-goers can add this spot to their list of places to visit to get out of the city’s sweltering heat. The pop up, at the Gansevoort Hotel, is curated by a collective of ice cream-centric folk, including artists and others in the industry.
Highlights at the museum include a rainbow sprinkle pool (that you can actually take a dip in), edible balloons, an immersive chocolate room, and a can’t-miss giant ice cream sundae. If that won’t do, guests can go for a ride on an ice cream sandwich, seesaw on an ice cream scooper or indulge in an exclusive helado tasting.
Some of New York’s best scoops will be featured, including Black Tap, Oddfellows Ice Cream Co., and many more.
