Throughout the 2016 Presidential Campaign, we’ve seen the Republican party go head to head over foreign affairs, immigration issues, and a troubled economy. But we never thought we’d see the day they’d be so brave as to take their political opinions into the kitchen.
Fans of Cuban frontrunner Marco Rubio have discovered the one demographic they have yet to reach – foodies.
On Monday morning, Ohio governor John Kasich explained that he got elected to the state Senate thanks to women and the kitchen. “I didn’t have anybody for me, we just got an army of people and many women, who left their kitchens to go out and go door-to-door and to put yard signs up for me,” he said at a town hall in Virginia.
Rubio supporters jumped on the opportunity, releasing a slew of hilarious memes that poke fun at Kasich’s rant. The above is a fan favorite, providing an easy-to-follow recipe for meatloaf from the kitchen of John Kasich himself. (Get it?). The dish requires two simple steps, both of which call for a narrow-minded politican and a big appetite.
So, who’s cooking some sexist meatloaf for dinner?
