I made this recipe as is, no I made this recipe as is, no changes, and while it’s good, the final flavor wasn’t as balanced as it should have been.
* Do not overcook the cranberries or they will thicken up too much and the resulting puree will be too thick, as will the final drink. If that does happen, just thin the puree with water.
* There is not enough orange in recipe, it works better with more orange to balance out the acidity of the lime juice and cranberry.
* Citronge by Patron is better than cointreau
* If key limes are used for the lime juice and are either very tart or acidic, a good squirt or two of agave nectar will help round off those sharp edges.
Everyone is different in how they like their margaritas. The basic cocktail structure is there, you may just need to tweak it some to suit your own tastes
