    spiced palm syrup

    homemade pineapple shrub or pineapple drinking vinegar, such as Som

    Mezcal

    Directions
    Step 1
    Combine the cachaça, lime juice, syrup and pineapple shrub in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
    Step 2
    Shake and double strain into a glass filled with fresh ice. Float the mezcal on top.
    Step 3
    Coat a slice of apple with cayenne powder and rest on top.
    Tip:
    To make spiced palm syrup steep simple syrup with toasted spices including cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, anise, cardamom and white pepper.
