    Tequila Lime Shrimp

Flavor shrimp with lime and a splash of tequila for a quick, easy, and impressive warm weather supper.

    Ingredients
    1
    pound
large shrimp (21 to 25 count), peeled and deveined
    1/4
    cup
    chopped scallions
    1
    tablespoon
    fresh lime juice
    1
    teaspoon
    kosher salt
    3/4
    teaspoon
    freshly ground black pepper
    2
    tablespoons
    unsalted butter
    1/4
    cup
Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
    3/4
    cup
    crema or sour cream
    *
    chili powder
    Directions
In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with the scallions, lime juice, salt and pepper.
Heat the butter in a 12-inch heavy skillet over medium-high heat until the foam subsides. Add the shrimp and cook, turning once, until the shrimp are pink and just cooked through, 3 to 5 minutes.
Reduce the heat and add the Sauza tequila. Return the heat to medium-high. Tilt the skillet over a gas burner to ignite the tequila. Cook, shaking the skillet gently once or twice, until flames subside.
Remove from heat and stir in the crema. Serve sprinkled with chili powder.
