Roscato Mulled Wine

Roscato Rosso Dolce is a mildly sweet, slightly fizzy red wine. This recipe gently warms the wine with Calvados, orange, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger for a spiced punch that will warm you from the inside out. The bright red color of the punch is a great way to say Happy Ho-Ho-Holidays!


Ingredients

750-ml bottle Roscato Rosso Dolce

cup
Boulard Calvados

orange, peeled and sliced

sticks
cinnamon
8
to 10 cloves
1
teaspoon
fresh grated ginger

sugar or honey to taste
Directions
Combine all ingredients in either a large pot or a slow cooker.
Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes without boiling.
When the wine is steaming, it's ready to serve.
