    Plum Crumble with Poppy Seed and Matzoh Topping

    This dessert is quick and easy but also homey and comforting. Plums are tossed in a simple lemon juice and corn starch mix then topped with a sweet matzoh crumble then the dish is baked until warm and bubbly. 


    Ingredients
    For the Filling

    plums, cored and sliced
    1
    tablespoon
    lime or lemon juice

    tablespoon
    corn starch
    For the Crumble
    1/4
    cup
    flour
    2
    pieces
    matzoh, crumbled
    1/2
    cup
    sugar
    2
    tablespoons
    poppy seeds
    1/2
    cup
    chopped walnuts
    1/3
    cup
    coconut oil
    Directions
    Add the sliced plums to a bowl and toss with lemon juice and cornstarch. Place in a 8x8 in cake pan or any other oven-safe platter.
    In a bowl mix topping ingredients. Sprinkle over the plums. Melt the coconut oil and drizzle over the crumble.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the plums are bubbling up. Serve warm.
