Passion Fruit Caipirinha Cocktail

Brazil’s national cocktail, the Caipirinha, is made with cachaça, sugar, and lime juice. The Passion Fruit Caipirinha Cocktail adds a touch of the tropics with passion fruit. If you can't find passion fruit, you can substitute a tropical fruit blend nectar. The Caipirinha can be sipped at sultry summertime parties or during the cold winter months; its tropical flavors transcend all seasons.


Ingredients

limes, cut into wedges
4
teaspoons
granulated sugar

passion fruits, halved
1
cup
pineapple juice
5
ounces
cachaca
Directions
Divide lime wedges and sugar between 2 glasses and muddle.
Scoop passion fruit pulp and seeds into glasses. In equal parts, pour pineapple juice and cachaca into glasses.
Stir, top with ice and serve.
