Massican Margarita

Enduro's Wine Sommelier Seth Liebman describes the Massican Margarita as a pure version of the classic Mexican favorite. To showcase the drink, which was lemon based and not lime based, the flavors of Massican Vermouth are crisp and floral and play very well with tequila. The final result is a cocktail that is fresh and uplifting instead of dense and syrupy. 


Ingredients

salt, for rimming the glass
1 1/2
ounces
Chinaco Blanco Tequila
3/4
ounce
Massican Vermouth
3/4
ounce
grand marnier
1/2
ounce
fresh lemon juice
1/2
ounce
simple syrup
Directions
Rim a rocks glass with salt, if desired. Gently bruise a lime wedge and drop into the rocks glass. Fill with Ice. Set aside.
In a cocktail shaker combine the ingredients with 6 shakes and no ice. Pour over the bruised lime and rocks.
