The Mojito was born in Havana, Cuba and quickly became a popular drink amongst famous icons of the 1930’s. It maintains its reputation because of its combination of sour and sweet ingredients. This Classic Mojito pays homage to the original and keeps the tradition alive.
lime juice, freshly squeezed
splash of club soda
sugar cane stick, garnish
Add white sugar, fresh lime juice, mint, and club soda and muddle up with muddler. Add ice to fill the glass then add white rum.
Stir with sugar cane stick and top with soda water. Add optional garnish with mint leaf.
