With its combination of sweetness and spice, one can't help but picture oneself on a beach in Mexico as the sun beats down while sipping on this cocktail infused with color. For this refreshing mixer, tequila is mixed with prickly pear and yuzu for a beautiful drink to sip on all summer long.
1-2 drops of hot bitters or small piece of chili
prickly pear juice
smoked sea salt
In a martini shaker, muddle 2 lime wedges with a small piece of chili pepper (or 1-2 drops of hot bitters) and 1 ounce of gum Arabic.
Add ice, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, Yuzu juice, and prickly pear juice (or Acai) and shake well.
Strain into a rock glass filled with ice and smoked sea salt on the rim and garnish with a prickly pear slice or lime wedge.
