Dip de Aguacate y Yogurt (Spicy Avocado and Yogurt Dip)

This creamy, tangy and spicy avocado dip recipe is a lighter, but no less satisfying, alternative to guacamole. It makes a delicious healthy lunch when served with fresh veggies and whole grain pita bread instead of tortilla chips.

    1/2
    cup
    plain low-fat yogurt
    1/2
    cup
    Chopped Cilantro

scallions, white and green parts, chopped (about 1/3 cup)
    1
serrano or jalapeño chile (with seeds), chopped
    *
    juice of 1/2 lime
    1/2
    teaspoon
kosher salt, plus extra to taste
    *
vegetable crudités or chips, for serving
