    Chipotle Hummus

    If there's one thing Chef James Tahhan always has in his refrigerator, it's hummus. In this easy recipe, the Venezuelan-Arab chef uses chipotle chiles for a whole new level of flavor.


    Ingredients
    2 15oz.
    cans
    garbanzo beans
    1/4
    cup
    water
    1/2
    cup
    tahini
    2
    chipotle chiles
    1
    teaspoon
    cumin
    *
    fresh lemon juice
    *
    salt
    *
    pita bread
    *
    Olive Oil
    Directions
    Mix all ingredients except pita bread in blender, 2 minutes. Season with salt.
    Brush pita bread with olive oil. Toast on both sides in pan over medium-high heat. Serve hummus in bowl with pita bread on side.
