    Chile Chocolate Walnut Fudge

What’s better than fudge? Chile Chocolate Almond Fudge, of course. An irrestible fresh fudge made from a mix of dark chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, walnuts, marshmallows, ancho chile and cayenne for spice, and a sprinkling of sugar.

    Ingredients
    1/2
    teaspoon
    cayenne
    1 1/2
    teaspoons
    ground ancho chile
    2
    cups
    dark chocolate chips
    1
    cup
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2
    stick
    unsalted butter
    4
    cups
    marshmallows
    3/4
    cup
    heavy cream
    2
    cups
    cane sugar
    1
    teaspoon
    sea salt
    1
    cup
    walnuts, chopped
    Directions
Transfer cayenne, ancho chile and chocolate chips to a large bowl. Set aside.
In a saucepan on medium-high heat melt butter, marshmallows, cream, sugar and salt. Stir continuously until marshmallows have dissolved and a thick syrup remains.
Pour syrup onto chocolate mixture. Stir until mixture is shiny and smooth. Fold in walnuts.
Pour chocolate onto a sheet pan fitted with wax paper. Spread to desired thickness.
Chill in freezer for 10 minutes to set. Serve.
