    Brigadeiro

brigadeiro is a Brazilian party-time staple. They can be found individually wrapped on gas station counters, in delicate cups at classy bakeries, and by the handful at nearly every Carioca kid’s birthday bash. Best of all, you can make them yourself at home in a snap: all you need is butter, sweetened condensed milk and powdered chocolate drink mix!

    Ingredients
    1
    can
    sweetened condensed milk
    1
    tablespoon
    butter
    3
    tablespoons
    powdered chocolate drink mix
    1
    cup
    chocolate sprinkles
    Directions
Combine the condensed milk, butter and powdered chocolate drink mix into a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon until the mixture begins to thicken being careful not to burn.
When the fudgy blend begins to release from the sides of the pan, turn off the heat and allow it to cool completely.
With buttered hands, roll the cooled mixture between your palms to form a small ball.
Coat in sprinkles and serve on a tray or inside a miniature, paper candy cup.
