Bell Pepper and Grapefruit Mocktail

Bell Pepper and Grapefruit Mocktail is anything but an ordinary drink. A homemade citrusy syrup and fresh citrus juice complement savory red bell pepper and herbal sage. The result is so fresh and complex you won't even realize it's alcohol-free.


Ingredients
For the Oleo Saccharum

long strips lemon zest

For the Mocktail

ounce
fresh red bell pepper juice

ounce
fresh grapefruit juice

ounce
fresh lemon juice

ounce
oleo saccharum

fresh sage leaves

Fever Three Bitter Lemon Soda, to taste
Directions
To make the oleo saccharum, Place the sugar and zest in a plastic quart container and seal. Let it rest for a couple of days until you see most of the sugar has been dissolved. Strain peels and extra sugar and reserve the syrup for the mocktail.
To make the drink, place all ingredients in shaker, hard shake, double strain and pour over fresh ice.
