    Arroz con Dulce (Rice Pudding)

    A classic, creamy dish of rice braised in sweetened milk and topped with warm cinnamon.

    Ingredients

    arborio rice
    2
    sticks
    cinnamon
    *
    zest of one lemon
    1
    gallon
    milk
    4
    ounces
    sugar
    3
    ounces
    dates, finely chopped
    2
    ounces
    almonds, finely chopped
    Directions
    Combine rice, milk, cinnamon and lemon. Cook rice over low heat until al dente.
    Add sugar. Continue to simmer until rice is tender.
    Take off heat, add chopped dates and almonds. Serve.
