    50/50 Burger

    Using 50 percent ground beef and 50 percent ground lamb makes these burgers 100 percent delicious.


    Ingredients
    4
    tablespoons
    salted butter
    3/4
    cup
    sweet onions, chopped
    1
    clove
    garlic, minced
    1/2
    cup
    celery, chopped
    1/2
    cup
    carrots, chopped
    1/2
    cup
    cilantro, chopped
    1
    Serrano pepper, seeded and minced
    1
    pound
    Certified Angus Beef ® ground beef (80/20)
    1
    pound
    Staruss Farm ground lamb
    Directions
    Sauté butter, onions, garlic & celery until soft.
    Add the carrots and sauté until they are soft.
    Place on a plate and chill in the refrigerator.
    Meanwhile chop the cilantro & Serrano peppers in a bowl large enough to hold the 2 ground meats.
    Add peppers and cilantro when the onion mixture is cool add that gently into the meat. (Do not over work the meat.)
    Form into burger patties and cook in a pan over medium high heat.
    Serve warm.
