Miami just got a little hotter – Devon Seafood and Steak is hosting a special Tequila and Tamales tasting dinner on August 20 from 7 to 9 PM on their gorgeous outdoor patio!

The luxe restaurant is shining a culinary spotlight on two of Mexico’s most delicious culinary contributions with a four-course Mexican themed pairing dinner created by Scott Barrow, executive chef.

Start with a an aperitif of a Key Lime Margarita (a definitively Miami flavor) before moving on to a crab and goat cheese tamale served with a guava and sweet pepper salsa and paired with the Green Viper (Partida Blanco, cucumber, Grand Marnier, lime, and agave nectar). Next up? A summer squash tamale made with squash, plantains, and huitlacoche masa and paired with a Partida Reposada Margarita with tamarind and cinnamon; and then try the smoked duck tamale with tomatillo, pumpkin seeds, Cotija cheese, and crema paired with Cuervo La Familia, on the rocks. Finally, take a bite out of a sweet mango tamale with cinnamon, brown, sugar, and orange liqueur, paired with a Blackberry Margarita Jell-O Shot made with Jose Cuervo Platino.

Dinner costs $30 per person and includes tax and gratuity.
