Natalie Rose is a freelance food and travel writer, media producer and avid cook. For the last six years, she has been working as a film and commercial producer in New York City. Currently, she is following her heart and stomach into food and travel writing. As the daughter of a Mexican-American mother and a Lebanese-American father, Natalie honed her palate tied to the apron strings of family members keen to pass along the strong culinary traditions of Mexico, Lebanon, and her native Arizona. She has eaten in 3-star Michelin restaurants and off of dried banana leaves in abodes with dirt floors in her beloved India. Each meal was the best of her life, in different ways. She travels to India annually where she volunteers, works for several NGOs, eats lots of pickle and tries to survive Indian motorists. She currently resides in Antigua, Guatemala, and spends her days dreaming up new adventures to undertake and delectable dishes to cook. She also writes the food and travel blog Chocolate and Chiles.

Natalie is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her mother says she was always a very good eater.
