Andina Restaurant is a Modern-Peruvian Portland favorite that “aspires to revive native, pre-colonial ingredients and incorporate them into creative, modern presentations of the highest international caliber.” Already we’re sold. Chef Hank Costello is planning a three-course, prix fixe menu that includes tapas, entrées, and dessert. The star of the show will of course be a heritage turkey, “pavo novoandino”. Located in the luxurious Greenwich Hotel in TriBeCa, Locanda Verde is the perfect setting for your Thanksgiving feast. Let’s be real, there’s no need for turkey if there’s carnitas, tamales and chiles rellenos up for grabs. Richard Sandoval and Executive Chef Eric Do are putting their mark on Thanksgiving at Toro Toro, a modern steakhouse with a Pan-Latin twist. For $62, from 4pm to 11pm on November 27th, Toro Toro guests will be treated four courses of new Thanksgiving staples including pumpkin soup, braised turkey thighs, honey and chipotle ham with chorizo stuffing, and apple empanadas. This Argentinian restaurant will be offering a gut-busting 4-course extravaganza on Thanksgiving day from 12pm til 8pm. Save room after the extensive tapas course and the soup and salad course for the mouthwatering entrées options; choose a hearty South American staple like filet mignon or cordero, or try a node to Americana with a turkey breast stuffed with smoked serrano ham, and mushrooms and served with a sweet potato cake.
