This week sees the official start to summer, a time where our minds wander to events like summer Fridays, summer picnics, cookouts, and bbqs. And grilling!  But for some, the grill can be a little intimidating, especially when you’re entertaining. Luckily, superstar chef Ingrid Hoffmann, an expert in the kitchen, and manning her Lynx Grill, is sharing her tips for perfectly cooked and completely delicious BBQ inspired summer meals.

Yes, we said meals!  According to Ingrid, you can make your whole dinner on the grill, from start to finish. Here, Hoffmann shows us how she makes complete meal all at the same time, using a grill. We think summer just got a whole lot easier. From start to finish, here’s how Hoffmann makes her delicious cookout.

Latin Burgers with Caramelized Onion and Jalapeño Relish and Red Pepper Mayonnaise

  • 2 medium jarred roasted red bell peppers, drained 
  • 3/4 up mayonnaise
  • 12 ounces ground sirloin
  • 12 ounces ground chuck
  • 8 ounces fresh Mexican chorizo
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon adobo
  • 1/2 cup bottle jalapeno slices, drained
  • 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar

Grilled Pork and PIneapple Skewers with Achiote Sauce 

  • 3 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil  
  • 1 tablespoon achiote seeds
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped aji amarillo 
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons each kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound pork loin
  • 1 pineapple
  • 1 red onion

Grilled Pineapple with Spiked Rum Crema 

  • 8 3/4 inche thick rounds of pineapple 
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 tablespoons silver rum
  • 1/4 cup sweetened coconut flakes
  • fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
