It’s that time again: we’re heading to the luscious Pacific Northwest to get our fill of the best of Oregon at Bon Appetit’s Feast Portland, running September 18 through September 21.

We’re thrilled to drink our fair share from local breweries and Willamette Valley wines, have many a tasting from the best local restaurants, meet with top chefs, and do our part to keep Portland weird. With four delicious days and lots of ground to cover, here’s where you’ll find us.

For up-to-the-minute info and mouthwatering pictures, make sure to follow us on Twitter and Instagram. You can also follow our Founding Editor Marie Elena Martinez on Twitter (@mariesworlds) and Instagram (@mariesworld), and if you see her, stop and say hello!

We’re grabbing a front row seat to chat with Liam Kenna, the brewing expert of the famous Stumptown Coffee. This class is all about how you can make barrista-quality coffee in your very own kitchen and covers the basics you need (the gadgets and the beans) as well as how to use them.

A second chance to hit up all the vendors we missed or were too stuffed to try. We’ll also be checking out Hugh Acheson, Chris Cosentino, and more on the KitchenAid stages.

Hog Tied with Adam Sappington and Camas Davis

We’re going back to basics with a class on home butchery from Camas Davis, the founder and owner of the Portland Meat Collective and butcher Adam Sappington. We’ll be learning how to split the whole sides of pork into edible piece and how to cook every part, from snout to tail. We’ll be experts at lechon!

Tillamook Brunch Village

We’ll be saying adios to Portland with a stop at the Tillamook Brunch Village at Pioneer Courthouse Square. This boozy brunch features chefs from all around the country dishing out bacon, eggs, pastries, cocktails, and more. There will also be a raucous “I Woke Up Like This” Cocktail Competition, a competition to find the best, hangover-curing libation.
